چکیده
Abstract The thermodynamic properties of electron gas under the extreme conditions high temperature, matter density, and/or a strong magnetic field largely determine behavior in upper layers neutron stars and accretion columns magnetized binary systems. A these objects makes motion electrons across essentially quantum. possible degeneracy relativism are also important. When studying onto magnetar system, intensive generation electron–positron pairs quantizing should be taken into account. We consider detail free fields, taking account their degeneracy, as well equilibrium creation high-temperature plasma presence field.

Self-Fields Effects on Gain in a Helical Wiggler Free Electron Laser with Ion-Channel Guiding and Axial Magnetic Field
In this paper, we have investigated the effects of self-fields on gain in a helical wiggler free electron laser with axial magnetic field and ion-channel guiding. The self-electric and self-magnetic fields of a relativistic electron beam passing through a helical wiggler are analyzed. The electron trajectories and the small signal gain are derived. Numerical investigation is shown that for grou...
متن کاملNon-uniform two-dimensional electron gas in a magnetic field
Basic properties of a two-dimensional electron gas with spatially varying carrier concentration in external magnetic fields are reviewed. The two main problems: modification of galvanomagnetic coefficients due to random fluctuations of equilibrium concentration and the concentration gradient created by the Lorenz force in the Hall direction — are considered for weak, classically strong, and qua...
متن کاملSpin Waves of a Layered Ferromagnetic Electron Gas and of a Paramagnetic Electron Gas in a Strong Magnetic Field
The spin wave spectrum of a layered ferromagnetic electron system is determined in the long-wave length limit. It is shown that the spin wave stiffness is a highly anisotropic quantity. A discussion of the Stoner condition shows that both electron tunneling processes and a more sophisticated expression of the Coulomb interaction matrix element than the usual Hubbard form are important for the e...
متن کاملIonization Equilibrium in the Electron-Proton Gas
Using Fefferman's analysis of the quantum electron-proton gas, we give a rigorous proof of ionization equilibrium in this system. Ionization equilibrium phases are obtained as low-density and low-temperature limits, letting the chemical potential #(T) approach the ground-state energy of the hydrogen atom as the temperature T tends to zero. The rate of ionization is determined by the slope of #(...
متن کاملPhoton Damping Caused by Electron-Positron Pair Production in a Strong Magnetic Field
Damping of an electromagnetic wave in a strong magnetic field is analyzed in the kinematic region near the threshold of electron-positron pair production. Damping of the electromagnetic field is shown to be noticeably nonexponential in this region. The resulting width of the photon γ → e+e− decay is considerably smaller than previously known results.
